Official Quiver Pre-Sale Begins Soon
After a very busy season working with our amazing publisher Trope, Quiver: The Art of Life Through Bowcraft is in the printing phase and slated to hit bookshelves this fall. To say we are excited would be a major understatement. Project Quiver, the journey to bring this book to the world, has been a truly incredible experience, filled with beautiful people, global adventures, and learning opportunities. And while the journey continues through our social media and podcast, we are now on the cusp of sharing the first volume of our long-awaited book to the world, a major milestone.
In just a few weeks, we will launch our official pre-sale for the first edition, our Founders Edition, which will include a limited bookplate, numbered and hand signed by both me and Ela. This Founders Edition bookplate will not be available at any other time, and we are also working on some other bonus materials for the official pre-sale. We are printing only 2,000 First Edition book copies, and they are only guaranteed for Fall 2026 delivery via this pre-sale.
If you are new to the blog, Project Quiver is a father-daughter quest amounting to a nearly 2-year commitment to preserve the legacy of primitive bowcraft by visiting with 14 of the world’s finest bowyers. We carved a bow with each of them and captured their craft in stunning photographs. Although we have been liberally sharing via social media and the Salish Wolf Podcast, the masterpiece of Project Quiver is a 336-page book featuring more than 350 original photographs of the ancient craft of bowmaking and the bowmakers alongside rich and inspiring narrative.
If you enjoy our work and primitive bowmaking, purchasing a Founders Edition of Quiver is the greatest way to show your support. Once we manage to sell all First Edition copies, we hope to begin work on volume 2.
