Christopher Applewhaite is a physician, bow hunter, and amateur bowyer living on Salt Spring Island on Canada’s west coast. In his workshop overlooking the Salish Sea, he can be found carving bows mostly from yew wood that he has harvested.

Terry Bullman has been a fighter most of his life. As an only child growing up on a farm in North Carolina, he used to watch martial arts movies and dream of fighting like Chuck Norris or Bruce Lee. He began training on his own, and then with clubs and gyms to earn black belts in Taekwondo, Karate, and Krav Maga.
